Yes.

I...I do too, friend.

The sad part is, this isn’t even the worst Shandy that Leinie’s makes.

Fellow Wisconsinite here. You’re absolutely right.

I made it about 20% of the way through Chapterhouse Dune before finally fucking quitting. I don’t know what finally broke me, since books 2-5 were more or less incomprehensible garbage and I read them anyways.

Underrated comment. You must be from Chicago!

Yes.

ActRaiser was soooooooooo good. The sequel was not so hot, but damn, I’d pay good money if they decided to make a third. I’m disappointed ActRaiser didn’t make the final cut, but I think it speaks to the fact that the SNES had so many good games, and narrowing it down to just 20 or so must have been pretty difficult.

Jesus Christ, the Wisconsin accent is strong in this one.

Yup, then we all sit around and jack off to the part where Buddy Ryan sends the letter to the former players.

My favorite part of watching Chicago/Green Bay games during the Favre era was when FOX or CBS would put this list on the screen, to show you how many QBs the Bears had gone though while Favre was the starter for the Packers. They may as well start that again for Rodgers’ golden years.

I recently learned that Nick Bakay also voiced Salem in Sabrina the Teenage Witch and my mind was blown.

I loved Baseball Stars right up until the point my save file got erased, after putting 100+ hours into my custom team.

Hell yes we do. I think the last new and good volleyball game I played was Beach Spikers on the GameCube, and even then, it was beach volleyball. Which is fine, but I’d love to see a game based on the real thing!

Tiger-proofing was just the dumbest feature and I loved it so much. I seem to remember making impossible greens that were also florescent pink. I was sad when they promptly dropped that feature in ‘06 (the last year this series was still really good, IMO).

Arguably my favorite SNES game of all time. Still can’t build a Megalopolis to save my life, though.

Great piece, and I’m glad the show brought you some comfort during a difficult time.

Fellow Bears fan in Wisconsin, and am in 100% agreement with what you said. It’s turned less into trash talk from Packers fans, and more into “I’m sorry for your loss” type comments.

At least 40 hours of my 110 hour playthrough was spent chasing NPCs with !s over their heads. You’re not wrong.
