It's really hard to compare Earthbound and Mother 3...they're so similar, and yet so radically different at the same time. I will say that hands down, Mother 3 has a better battle system, and it gets even more awesome throughout the game. I hope you can stick with the game...I'd be curious to hear your thoughts as

This is....the best GIF ever.

Heck, I liked the first one well enough. Might as well get on board with this one!

If there's one RPG that hits me right in the feels, it's gotta be Skies. There's something about the atmosphere and mood of that game that just puts a smile on my face. Glad to see Vyse getting some love!

Sure, the game got a GameCube update and Vyse made an appearance in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, but that's not nearly enough. Skies of Arcadia deserves to be so popular that fans will have a hard time snagging one of the 1,000 $199.99 standard versions or 425 $219.99 exclusive versions with extra

Also, an HD Suikoden 4 with a reduced encounter rate, and fixed sailing mechanics?? All of a sudden, that game would look a lot more appealing.

Some people may disagree vehemently with me on this one, but Save the Homeland for PS2 might be a good option. People hate it because you only farm for an in-game year, and the marriage option is stripped out, but the farming itself isn't over-complicated and I found it to be pretty engaging. Also - I just don't

I got my start with the SNES version, and I'd highly recommend it. While fun, the newer ones can feel a bit overwhelming with all the options, and that's turned me off from some of them. The SNES version keeps things fairly simple, but the gameplay will still hook you. Plus, the clock stops at night, so you can

Super Mario Land 2 still holds up remarkably well today. I will still bust it out every now and then and play through it in an afternoon. And I love the music so much!

Oh man, for a few years as a kid, I took Link's Awakening with me on pretty much every family trip. I was hopeless stuck in the game (didn't quite understand the trading process at the time), but that didn't bother me. I loved the seemingly endless exploration.

I just walked by Domino's yesterday and saw a sign for these in the window. And sure enough, when I wake up today, here's my Snacktaku review of 'em! Fahey, you my friend, have your finger on the pulse of the snacking world. Good on ya!

I was a huge fan of the other AC games, but haven't gotten around to New Leaf yet. I know I'll love every second of it, but also know that it will take over my life if I'm not careful. :)

I laughed my ass off during this entire thing. I cannot wait to pick this one up and enjoy more.

Looks like a cool game! Good luck with the project, I'll definitely be looking out for this one.

Michael Bay makes 3 hour movies. Meanwhile, the longest I could ever live in Battletoads was about 6 minutes. He'll have to scale it back. :)

I'm sorry to hear about your Dreamcast! I have mine hooked up in my bedroom, and have been sneaking in games of Street Fighter 3: Third Strike and Jet Grind radio before bed. Life is good. :)

As much as I'd love to see the DQ7 remake released here, it seems like SquareEnix has really given up on DQ in the west. 7 is possibly my favorite in the series, and the 3DS remake looks like it strips out a lot of the bad parts (you know, like when you don't have a battle until 2+ hours into the game).

You're probably right, but I'd argue though that there's a certain style and charm to MM's graphics that really helped to set the mood of that game, and to me, that's the important part.
