Your take on Tesla is the very opposite of reality, the fact that they have China output in September is actually a huge upside vs competitors that have to pay taxes and this improves Tesla’s positioning in China a great deal. There is a minimal short term downside but the upside is far larger.

This is an often used tag line around here. Along with the whole “no test drive” bs. Some people can’t be bothered to research for themselves.
“dumb” is subjective. Unless, of course, you need to issue insults to make yourself feel better. If you need to lease prior to purchase, clearly the Tesla business model isn’t ideal for your needs. Good thing to have options, isn’t it...

I love reading Jalopnik for most car topics, but even with Ryan Felton gone, I’d never trust Jalopnik to deliver anything close to impartial news about Tesla. Felton was the worst, but the editorial staff here just can’t help but throw as much FUD as possible in front of any Tesla news.
Prove me wrong.
And with a Tesla, you...can’t test drive it, might have trouble getting a refund even if you do return it in the 7-day window

Building a car is hard. Building a car company is damn near impossible. Musk is a lot of things but you have to hand it to him for succeeded to this point in spite of the challenge. They aren’t remotely out of the woods (who is?) but you can’t deny he’s done something that hasn’t been done in a long time - created…
The idea that any CEO is always telling the truth is hilarious. Management’s job is to lie to protect the company.
Actually, I do have a problem with the show. Not because a minority as the lead, but because it’s being rebooted at all. First of all, they could easily create another show, with the same theme, with a different name. They are trying to capitalize on name recognition. Those of us that have fond memories of the show…
