The Virgin of Guadalupe is a subversive element, because she is an indigenous image. Also, she looks like a vulva.

Since when did Jezebel start worrying about blasphemy? ;)
Fuck Catholic culture. La Virgen is some made up fucking bullshit. Catholics persecute gays, women, trans people, and make people ashamed of their bodies and their sexualities. Who the fuck care if some trashy televison star “appropriates” it. Goddamn. I get a kick out of the fact that a porn star is comitting…
I really don’t give a half a fuck about anyone in that family, but I kind of want this simply BECAUSE of how amazingly tasteless and tone deaf it is. Clicking over now. Hope you get referral dollars.
You know what else inspires murder? Infinite scrolling.
Fun fact: Vera Lynn’s “We’ll Meet Again” is what you hear at the end of Dr. Strangelove with the A-bombs going off left and right.
I welcome the support of conventionally attractive people, but when one of them says “UGH this beautifying product is insulting because it’s purporting to make me more beautiful/slender/etc AS IF that were a worthwhile goal!,” when the ONLY goal of the product is to beautify/slenderize/etc — this is a paradox, made…
Highly amused by the delicately placed pro-fat messages (the “ugh” given to the “slenderizing” product, the mockery of the “chisel” product etc), when coming from a person who looks like the author, and whose job is to assess the beautyfying effects of beauty products — one of the less compelling fields of political…
Did they discuss that elevatorgate? Asking for a friend 😂😌
Arcangelo?
Just a heads up, that witness did not turn over her cell phone footage voluntarily. I’m in San Diego and have been following the aftermath of the shooting closely on social media; there are several reports that say police confiscated cell phones from nearby witnesses and told them “not to talk to anyone.”
There’s nothing wrong with saying she’s fat/overweight. I don’t think the OP meant it as a value judgment.
This is a visibly overweight woman holding up teeny tiny clothing to her body. It’s like a holding a chihuahua up to a great dane and being like “it looks small!!” This experiment may have been more meaningful had an average sized woman taken her place.
Um, I know we’re all supposed to hate Katherine Heigl and all because she’s bad to work with or whatever, but she was right about Knocked Up.....just sayin’.
This headline is rubbing me the wrong way - it insinuates that this is somehow on par with other senseless murders. You can’t point a gun at the cops, I mean, what the fuck.
