yeah, i agree it was a different thing when games had zero internet connectivity. I had an amiga, game boy, nes, snes etc etc, all the old consoles before most games had an internet connection aspect.

I don’t get the argument there. If you had bought the game as a physical copy, then you would still have issues when the servers go down, see the part in the article where it says:
i don’t speak for all devs of course, just speaking for myself, as i learn more and more about how to make things more comfortable, i push for making the default settings those which will be most comfortable for most people and then offer alternatives for people who need even higher comfort adjustments and ones who…
As this doesn’t let me edit the comment anymore after some time, writing a reply instead:
ok, i have a bunch more weapons now, still not feeling most of them.
thanks, yeah, i had already gotten the loot tracker and also used it and got a bunch more weapons by collecting the parts.
yeah, i built more weapon upgrades etc, but even after i meanwhile have most upgrades, it seems like they still don’t really leave me that many different gameplay options.
based on the reviews i saw many seem to have completed it around hour 6-8. I played it around 5 so far and dunno if i’m any close to completing it since it does the thing of you have to collect items x,y,z to get free and each time i got those, it made up some excuse why i need another set of items now, so then i’m…
Dunno, the more i play it, the more it seems to force me into running away from the enemies as there are meanwhile so many on most ships and as they hardly ever drop anything useful, it is just a waste of ammo and time and health to fight them most of the time.
Nah, it really is not ideal at all for 10 minute sessions in between or something like that, unless one leaves the computer and game on the whole time between play sessions. Because if one reloads one basically lost the progress on the map so one has to start at (randomized again) map and ship to get the several ships…
Nah, sorry. The more i play it, the worse it becomes.
50% of the games making one motion sick would already be a massively exaggerated number , the large majority of the games is totally fine for the large majority of people. Like all the bigger known titles are totally fine for most people.
If you play Beat Saber on Vive or Rift on a good PC or on the Quest, i’m quite sure you would not get motion sick at all.
Initially i was curious what Nintendo would do in VR with the Switch. It just seemed implausible given the hardware specs.
Several characters were really badly undone in this episode.
yeah, it made zero sense they let him have that emotional arc with Brienne, then they get together at the end and then next day he leaves to be together with Cersei again?!?
For Dany to go all crazy tyrant was totally what i would have expected as lame boring to be expected outcome. I mean they showed repeatedly throughout the series that she acted like the typical tyrant leader type who talks of high positive goals but then repeatedly acts very harshly against anyone who speaks up and…
One gets Epic taking the lowest cut percentage when using the Unreal engine. Then there’s also the side that Epic does offer dev grants, too.
Some gamers are pissed off about exclusivity or one platform giving devs or users better deals, because just looking at it superficially, it may sound at best like an annoyance, like you have to get another console/device or in this case install another launcher etc to get those games and good deals etc.
Hm, dunno.
