From the few interviews Kaling has given about this friendship, it seems clear the majority of affection is one-sided. She loves him; he likes her but has serious commitment issues. Also, he’s a douche. I worry for her.

Thank you for this.  This made me so happy.

Somehow, a video podcast interview with David showed up on my YouTube suggestions. I think I watch most of it a few months back. It’s quite a long interview, so you can have your wish. Just do a search on YT for “PARAMERICAN RADIO #10 WITH GUEST DAVID BURNS”.

I liked the Hawaii season, but I totally agree that it was basically when the tide started to turn and the cast wasn’t nearly as real anymore, and went from being basically themselves to characters. Because David is right....there is nothing on television that can compare to those first few season of the RW. It’s

He wasn’t married, but he had a long-term serious girlfriend, and she came to visit. Nathan felt busted because he’d been flirting heavily with one of the other girls he found “exotic,” i.e. Asian. Now I also want to look up my RW crushes. I know there was Eric Nies (the original), Colin from Hawaii, Ace from Paris. I

You have done the Lord’s Work, Tracy. Seattle was probably one of my last seasons of truly being in love with the Real World.

Sometimes my high school bestie and I still shout, “I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW!” at each other because of the David-Kira car scene.

This is amazing. Thank you for your service. I actually felt a little tingle in my loins remembering the punching of the dashboard.

I’ll believe them when they actually stop production.

Maybe consider leaving the hot takes for people who do have skin in the game. Those of us who are struggling with fertility issues don’t need this opinion.  We’ve heard it and it’s more complicated than you think. Instead of saying this, you could have not said it. That would have been better.

context is very important. if this is true, then understandable.

Yeah, it’s pretty clear part of the story was missing.

This is incredibly judgmental without speaking to the experience of living with an addict. You clearly have not dealt with a drug addict and Halsey or anyone else associated with an addict could have easily used with or without living with her parents - that isn’t a determining factor. You need to choose the health

Halsey is being a little...disingenuous. Yes, she was a teen when her parents kicked her out but most people think child, 13 - 18, when thinking teen. Halsey was 19, a legal adult, whose parents had no obligation to house anymore. Tons of parents have a “be in school or have a job” policy for their children over 18.

“Don’t touch the people you work with unless you are shaking hands, they are choking and you are giving them the Heimlich, or you are pulling them out of the way of an oncoming bus,” seems like such an easy rule to follow that I don’t understand why people don’t do it. I’m in the military, and I can’t remember the

He flat out denies that he’s had sex with anyone under the age of 17

I believe he can lie.

It’s all a bullshit fantasy sold to women that shitty men are complicated and suffering from abandonment issues and you, yes YOU, can fix them by staying with them no matter how objectively terrible they are to you and you’ll never win because if they keep being shitty, it’s cause you didn’t try hard enough and if you

We Worst”

I have a friend who was paid out of a gig with him, after he pulled this shit with her. Courtesy of his manager, who of course apologized profusely for Ryan’s behavior. Fuck Ryan Adams, fuck everyone who enabled his actions and fuck everyone who looks the other way when their friends/family/associates pull this shit.
