First off I reread twice your assertion about the crux of her argument in terms of the current existence of black/white woman relations in the feminist movement. Did you not read her article. Her main point was that the whole institution of slavery, not just black women getting raped by white men, pitted white women…

But why? Often times slavery is discussed without black women. And I understand intersectionality pretty well being a black woman. There were many sub-issues within slavery. Slavery wasn't this monolithic experience for everyone involved.
