What if it had a “turbo” button like some computers did in the 90s?

Me waiting for them shits to drop another $50k in the next two years

The Mercedes TTV8 sounds good in every product, whereas the Audi and BMW V8s sound pretty good in certain models (M and RS). But this car is truly gorgeous (I would prefer convertible).  For a fun weekend tourer this is unbeatable.

Well name any of the luxury brands that carry a reliable NA V8 anymore?  Pretty much everyone has gone to a twin turbo V8 that looks like a bag of snakes once you pull the plastic panel off.  No one makes regular ol’ V8 coupes that make V8 noises and have V8 reliability except for Lexus.

The design and quality of the LC transcend depreciation. It’s a once in a generation kind of car, IMO. We’ll never see anything like this from Toyota/Lexus ever again once they kill off the 5.0 V8.

Besides the obvious reliability argument, I would argue that it’s a more compelling vehicle than an 8-series, CLS, or other big luxury coupe. These things are truly stunning in person, and the high-revving, great-sounding NA V8 is long gone in all its competitors.

Back in my 20s, I never got over 8k miles out of a set of tires. For some reason, the tires always had a sort of gooey layer of rubber on the tread that looked like it was melted. Must have been something wrong with the car and tires I had back then.

IIRC the actual first TRX was the 6x6 V10 Ram concept they made in the 90s

Exactly.  Now if they had used the word “shall” then things would have to change.

I’m hoping that states will look at the word should in that manual and treat it accordingly. As a suggestion.

“UNBUCKLED SEAT BELTS FINE + POINTS.”

Massachusetts was having a good time back when Episode 7 was released.

I’d argue that “joke” messages are more memorable and therefore more effective.

The signs are occasionally befuddling to people who don’t understand the reference, causing them to take more mental energy off the act of driving. They’re calling you stupid, basically.

I swear people in these types of jobs are all ex HOA board members who were ran off the farm.

Honestly “UNBUCKLED SEAT BELTS FINE + POINTS.” is a bit more confusing... Punctuation is important.

Bring back Mystichrome you cowards!

Give me 200 miles of range in that Prelude and a price under $40K and I’m buying a ticket. Unless I get the Mazda first.

So you’re going to go the whole article without actually saying how it’s possible to get the titular 170K a year and instead list out some hourly rates that equate to 40-80k per year?
