The problem with Lotus doing the four door and SUV type vehicle is market saturation. If all of the psuedo performance luxury brands do it and Lotus is clearly showing up late to the party, they run the risk of developing a vehicle that can’t break into the market. So it has to be calculated where they would want to

Caddy doesn’t belong in the same conversation as Bentley or Rolls Royce.

Please enlighten us as to what a luxury brand is.

I agree with this. Our XC90 is by far the nicest vehicle I have ever sat in, save a Bentley/RR. It’s not even close.

When I was shopping for our XC90, a first gen with the V8 pulled into the lot. It must have had an aftermarket exhaust because it sounded downright mean. I mean vintage American muscle car mean. It made me lust for that engine in our XC90. Volvomake a V8; they just choose not to.

Basically, I had enough money to buy quite a few of their cars and they could have gotten me as a 21 year old to buy into

Came here to post this.

Clarkson hasn’t been more right.

It’ll be called the ZM roadster. I feel like they’ve used that one before.

Le Mans sees things differently.

I think we know which lady will chose it for a mate, right @$kaycog?

I thought about this and there was a time I too could have purchased a late model Porsche while in my twenties. I decided I’d get married, get a Boss instead and put some money away. Couldn’t be happier. I’ll still get my Porsche but it may be a Panamera vice a 911 since we have kids now.
