The ‘67 Vette I mentioned above was purchased because my mom thought a Wimbledon White with blue racing stripes ‘67 GT500 was ugly. Poor investment, relatively speaking. Pro tip: If you’re a true car guy and have done your hw, don’t let your wife talk you out of something because it’s ‘ugly.’

I know this feeling. My dad bought a ‘67 Corvette Sting Ray convertible in Marina Blue with matching blue vinyl interior and white vinyl top and the base 327 before I was born. He kept it at his parents house which was halfway across the country, so I only got to see it every other year or so. He sold it after my

Ahem.

I wasn’t going to blame him but the sentiment is there.

I miss my four fans of freedom. It’s how I ended up here almost three years ago.

How about less than 43 drivers qualify? That’ll help to thin the herd a little as well.

I can agree with that.

That’s not a Stingray. It’s a Z06.

If you can get it for that price, go for it. I have a feeling there’s an undisclosed dealership fee of $10,000+ waiting.

For the same price, good luck.

Absolutely correct on the privilege vs right statement.

Agreed. That fence saved lives tonight. Minor injuries are a major sigh of relief compared to what could have been.

May have spoken too soon as 3 fans are being tended to. But that car stayed on the track preventing catastrophic injuries. That fence truly is amazing.

How about those fireworks ending the race? Glad it looks like no one was hurt.

I sadly agree.

I just want more strict licencing requirements which would take a lot of the riff raff off the roads. Less traffic means less wear and tear and obviously more room for higher speed limits.

American cars are way better than given credit. My 2003 Mazda6: 1 new transmission before 10,000 miles. My 2006 Mustang GT: new alternator at 60,000 miles due to udp being installed, so it was known it would fail sooner. My 2012 Boss 302: 0 problems, several hundred miles on the track.

So you’re saying you singlehandedly will save the American V-8. Good on you.

Or just roll cage and find some seats online (other totaled cars, not necessarily a Ferrari). Presto! Race car.

I think he’s saying to just find a clean titled 430 for $104,000, not that combining these equals that.
