or alternately "the only Gay Character of the show is Evil" which is another problematic trope…

everytime someone says this, I ask: can you picture this actor playing Danny sweetness and naivety convincingly? the answer is always: no. IMHO. and Sacha Dhawan said it himself.

this is my favorite episode of the season. D, D and C dynamics is great.
the initial banter between Davos and Colleen is pretty much what happened when your BFF ditches you for a new girl/boy LOL. "you told her about our secret place?" "this ass is your best friend?"
The Meachum bits may seem less interesting with

I happily ignore those.

no idea. but I think the defenders writing team had more time to prep - while waiting IF to end shooting, than the IF one.

one thing they dropped was Danny's PTSD [unless they want to imply that he got over it thanks to Claire pseudo psychiatrist act on the plane…. ] but the rage issue was evident and consistent

there's a lot of subtle things FJ does to convey Danny struggle, like the thing he does with his hands when Danny is nervous, are little touch that add to the character.

this is the indication of very poor writing. I always loathed the "big misunderstanding due to bad communications skills" as a trope.

this is one of the instance I'm so glad italian/european movies/Tv doesn't care about this PC stupidity. we do have heroes who smokes and nobody cares. LOL

uh, do you realize the next step of this definition of Cultural appropriation, is segregation, right?

I can't talk about DD, haven't seen it.
Can't remember who is the elderly black killed in JJ :((

when he is concentrating for the ep 6 tournament, he keeps repeating what seems the kunlun equivalent of autogenic training

british actors = midsomer murders :D

yes please, I need his "soooo done with this shit" attitude whenever something happens.

oh. so they actually got this right?

was it bad? I see people ranking DD2 very high in the MNU

I've seen worst, and seen them win oscars, so…

he sent in an audition vid (sorry, can't remember the english word here?) like anyone else, answering the casting call. he wasn't singled out and asked to do the audition…

If they give us a coherent story, I'm ok with 8 episode.

yeah, so 15 years ago is like the 90s for me.
so so sad.
