Factories aren’t what’s keeping these people poor, it’s their corrupt governments. The factories are paying them, the governments are oppressing them, let’s not forget that, please!

Aid money from governments is not the same thing as investment money from private enterprise. Private enterprise benefits these third world countries greatly, they all have to go through their industrial revolutions just as we did. Even Paul Krugman understands the benefits of “sweat shops”.
