Actually, what she says is "No one's ever seen a wormhole", which is true; they have never been observed. And all the theory in the world cannot make up for the lack of evidence for them.

Correction: They haven't nailed down how life began (but they have a few competing theories), and they have a pretty good idea of how it became so complex.

You misunderstand the purpose of the video. This is not a Kickstarter pitch for a new brand of headphones. This is not an ad for a concept design that is 'coming soon'. This is not a finished product, or even the prototype of a product. There is no 'bragging' here. This is a small-scale test by a seven-person research

D'oh! You're right; it IS still toxic.

And how exactly do you think the venom gets into your bloodstream? They have sharp, pointed teeth (i.e. FANGS) to pierce your skin and allow the venomous saliva to enter. Not like a snake's hollow fangs, but still effective enough.

June 20th, 2012:

Whoops, missed that.

I posted an image of a Sony Minidisc (released 1992), which is probably the most well-known enclosed-disc optical storage medium worldwide. (Though the PSP's UMD is probably fresher in the minds of the general population)

Yes, if only they did...

This same arm was mentioned like 3 weeks ago on this same site:

...what is YOUR everyday routine like, I wonder.

Do you really love the lamp, or are you just saying it to make an Anchorman reference?

Looks familiar.

2 possible reasons (from the Ars Technica article):

Technically, the MBA can run all the legacy Windows apps...for an extra $40 (assuming you qualify for the Win8 upgrade pricing). Which pushes the price juuuust over that of the Surface, so...yay?

Still doesn't explain the initial 'Chinese junk' comment, though.

Were they firing blanks in the first demonstration? That grapefruit is still standing after they pulled the trigger, while every subsequent target vaporizes like they were made of explodium...

Given that they have a model making workshop that produces things like 'out-of-season fruits', odds are that's not actual chocolate they're using...

That one doesn't so much 'roll' as 'flop around like a beached walrus', though. Using a single propeller and multiple control surfaces to move along the ground (like the one in the video you linked to) seems like a sub-optimal locomotion strategy. Then again, this one uses its propellers as well, so...

You misunderstand. I meant no disrespect. Sorry if my comment sounded that way.
