Well, they used the building of the mall as cover. Takes a lot of men and trucks to build a huge mall.

I was more bugged that the Russian coverup was so weak. Why bother smuggling Russian uniforms and weapons into the US? Why not just buy what you need at K Mart? Why have thugs with assault rifles guarding the innocuous looking loading dock?
As a West Philly resident, can confirm.
Philly can definitely use some higher density housing in place of the half million dollar row homes popping up everywhere, but I agree these are all pretty generic and ugly. Fishtown is overrun with this shit and now it’s popping up in South Philly as well.
I bet u this bright shiny nickel that a lot of those “good” agents are former military/cops or failed military/cops. I am not sure which is worse.
I have to imagine the workforce is so toxic, they have pushed out most of the good people long ago.
Wholeheartedly agree
Yeah, I hate that aesthetic. Worst is when you see them in the middle of a street of rowhomes with old fronts and that still have the old masonry and caps. I mean, while it is slightly better than the gaping maw of an empty lot... it’s just...why?
They’re sprouting like mushrooms in Phoenix. I call them gulags.
Hey, at least those Soviet tenement blocks were affordable.
I feel the same when when I hear people say about America “We’re better than this” when no, we’re really not and never have been.

Ohhhhhh that was priceless!!!! Thanks for sharing!
I’m not particularly a “scholar” of WW II, but I did minor in history with a concentration in the European theater of that war—and I lived in Germany for five years (had the opportunity to visit Auschwitz, as well).
Based on that education and those experiences, I can only say the following:
Americans tend to conflate…
We should all live long enough to see Cheney’s war criminal and traitorous profiteer of a father twitching at the end of a rope.
“I always thought it was the balls,” O’Rourke says when told of Zoller’s firsthand recollection where the pee is stored.
Heathcliff was the better orange cat.
Hate to say it, but D&D made the right decision and maintained a holistic vision for the show’s ending. Excellent direction would have been jarring alongside piddle-poor writing.
