Yes, short term trends indicate long trends, just like how oil will never go up or down!

Yes. All car companies should have 1 million cars domestic volume within 3 years or else they are a joke. What a keen businessman that must run your own company you are!

Did you read the earnings release? 1.1 billion dollars in sales is ‘can’t sell products’ ??

Do you know what an earnings report actually is about?

Have you ever considered that maybe you’re taking an ideological stance on something that is out of your sphere of understanding? Doubling down on it doesn’t actually help

So you’re saying the government should have never even given them a loan which directly created essentially a new industry?

How is Tesla a train wreck? They’re a profitable company that has enormous infrastructure projects underway.

Literally all of these links are from 2013 prior to Tesla paying off all of their loans.

The American government doesn’t subsidize Tesla at all, I’m not sure where you got that idea.

I didn’t say that fossil fuels were running out, I said that EVs are more energy efficient and carbon efficient in their life-cycle.

How is none of that true? Lithium batteries are recyclable. Are you somehow arguing that it is not? Also are you literally arguing against thermodynamics? You can’t extract energy as efficiently out of ICE direct combustion as you can out of a natural gas or coal turbine.

A world full of only internal combustion

Pretty sure the OP was being facetious.

How are they not more environmental friendly? Batteries can be recycled for the metal content, and electricity from a renewable hydro plant or even a high efficiency coal plant has better carbon conversion than ICEs over their lifecycle.

It’ll be like maybe 4-6 oz. to add in a complete plastic bottom liner to prevent pebbles and mud and anything from jamming that all up. This car is shoddily built but made to look nice, and I don’t understand why Jalopnik has such praise for ‘charmingly terrible’ details like this.

No child would want this because it sucks as a toy...

You’ve never bought any stock at all have you...

Yeah man, fight the power.

2014 Honda Civic EX-L 0-60 mph 8.8 | Quarter mile 16.6
2013 Scion FR-S (Manual) 0-60 mph 6.2 | Quarter mile 14.5

Tell me more about your mystical base level 6 second civic.

yep Toyota got to be the biggest carmaker in the world shooting themselves in the foot. Shut up.
