it's hilarious that you've decided to wage this one-person campaign against internet entitlement and the death of self-control and whatever else you're whinging about.

"Or am I just weird for thinking that?"
I think it's trying to give Captain America teh gay, at the moment.
"I saw this girl at Netty's the other day and she had her shit TOGETHER! I'm talkin' bout hip hop pow! Boomin' system up top AND in the back."
hmmm… well, okay.
wasn't he given the starring role as the thief in the episode of E.R. that Tarantino directed?
for laughter and delight, i'd go to Giffen and Demattis-era JUSTICE LEAGUE; particularly scenes like Batman punching out Guy Gardner and the ensuing reaction of the rest of the team. also: the Helfer/Baker Shadow series from the late 80s, particularly the Shadow's deadpan use of ridiculously over-the-top violence to…
Red Harvest was a noir novel about an adult Encyclopedia Brown that came out a couple years ago - it was okay, although i thought the concept was more clever than the execution.
the series is apparently incredibly popular in Germany and, i think, has lead to a radio show and at least one or two movies.
i'm sure some asshole would say she's too old for the role but i thought she would have been perfect as Electra on Daredevil.
in the episode of Life where they played the Prince of Persia video game, they made a point of mentioning the fact Dani Reese was mixed race - her dad was a white asshole who wouldn't let her or her mom speak Farsi whenever he was around.

Rockford is on Netflix - don't know if Columbo still is (it was at one point, which allowed me to enjoy the Patrick McGoohan episodes). Quincey… is also still on Netflix, I think?
I'd also add DS9's "The Visitor" - it's not technically time travel, more temporal anomaly slash imaginary story, but it's one of the most moving episodes ever, so…
and then they should have made Data clean the toilets. "HAH haaa, Mr. Roboto - think you'll still wanna be a "real boy" after you see what the cafeteria chili and I left in the Deck Nine bathroom?!"
if you're suggesting the new Star Trek should have sentient spaceships like in The Culture novels of Iain Banks, each with names (and personalities!) like Prosthetic Conscience or Just Read The Instructions then YEEEEEAAAAAHHHH.
well, i love everything about cleter's comment.
harumph! sounds like EXACTLY the kind of intrusive Big Federation over-regulation that is killing our ability to compete with the Orions and Ferengi! This is why we're not winning anymore and why I propose a SPACE WALL built out of the finest Martian asteroids.
