I'll have you know I was on the internet before there was any such thing as a "world wide web" or "HTML", whippersnapper! We had to jerk off to 16-color images on EGA monitors, downloaded from gopher FTP sites, and we LIKED IT!

I think Otis remembers them, he just doesn't want to be associated with them because they are an embarrassment

Hey. 1970 was not "nearly 50 years ago". It was only 46. 46, DANGIT! DON'T START THROWING AROUND THE NUMBER 50 SO CLOSE TO THE TIME I WAS BORN! 46 IS NOWHERE NEAR 50! IT'S LOTS OF YEARS LESS!!!!

No, I was referring to the horrible Jim Carrey film. I wouldn't really consider Karloff to have "played" the Grinch (he speaks of him in the third person), as he is really the narrator.

Josh Gad, obviously.

If you ruin something that was already unspeakably awful, does that make it come all the way around and become good?

Given Scott's tendency for playing dour, serious characters, I always imagine him prepping for roles by just dwelling on it a little bit right before the cameras roll, to get him in the right frame of mind.

Somewhere, Dougray Scott takes another drink from his bottle of Scotch and curses Tom Cruise & the production team of Mission Impossible II.

Shelley Duvall as Olive Oyl.

Absolutely. I think Corman invented it, though (or at least was the first to be really successful). He explicitly marketed his films based on wide release & a cool poster, because he knew word of mouth was going to be unkind

For a sex worker, maybe

Everything needs more Wayne Pygram

Storm Troopers are shit against everyone, not just Jedi masters, it seems.

Seems like I have some catching up to do

One of my favorite movies when I was a kid. When Jurassic Park came out, I remember reading it & thinking "he just remade Westworld with dinosaurs."

Is Banshee returning soon? I think there is just one more season coming, right?

aka "The Roger Corman philosophy"

I first read the actor's name "Richard Dormer" as "Richard Donner", which seemed like an interesting bit of casting, making him a sleazy director.

Everything I have seen on this movie makes it look like 2 hours of staring at some dude's hands and feet cluttering the frame. Why the hell would anyone want to watch that?

Does anyone else read the title as "Batman 5 Superman"? I keep wondering how many points Superman scored.
