Yeah, the media landscape was so different in 2002. There was no such thing as Twitter, for Pete's sake. Campaigns could control the message far more tightly, and access was more important.

Well, most of them are legit running for President. Carson is not. Carson never was.
Just like President Santorum & President Huckabee.
Carson is not trying to be President, and he was never trying to be President. It's a grift. Running for President is the best way for someone in Carson's line of work ("Conservative Christian Leader" is what he does for a living nowadays) to gain legitimacy & income without being an actual pastor.
Ever see Zardoz? These people were doing Zardoz-levels of cocaine.
Maybe this is the problem. Waller has been so busy jetting around the country nuking cities on thin pretext there isn't much left.
So far, I'm happy that iZombie seems to still be improving. Veronica Mars was definitely a "peaked in season 1" show, as they seemed to have a lot of trouble keeping the premise working.
Well, if he is a Knicks fan (and maybe he is, based on the Knick-bashing this ep) I can see why he would want to see a coach shot dead.
Well, I'm sure this show was filmed long before the start of the season, so the writers could not have known Kristaps would get off to a good start. And a lot of Knicks fans made the Darko/Kristaps comparison on draft day and beyond, so I'll allow it.
Obviously, he brought along his "Miami Device" stubble razor, and grabbed it as the Queen's Gambit was going down.
First Green Arrow comic I ever read was the one where Roy Harper is addicted to heroin, so to me he never seemed right without a needle in his arm. That was some pretty heavy stuff for a little kid, although even at ten I wondered how GA didn't realize that a kid named "Speedy" was obviously a junkie.
Also, I like to believe that Star City exists in the same universe as Banshee, PA. No one gives a darn how many mayors that town loses, either.
Honestly, I wonder what sort of post-apocalyptic hell the rest of America is when a major US city has several consecutive mayors murdered, suffers multiple terrorist attacks, and the state & federal governments take NO ACTION AT ALL. No National Guard, no martial law, nothing.
That was definitely the most crowded deserted island of all time.
I want to see Chinese Shaft. I'll pass on Irish Zorro.
What I don't know about physics could fill a physics book, so you may well be correct. It just feels wrong to me. Of course, MST3K told how to deal with this years ago,
Gotta throw in a shout for Emma of Normandy, who was wife to both a Saxon & a Danish King of England, & mother to both a Saxon & a Danish King of England. She arranged the co-reign of Harthacanute & Edward the Confessor, held power over the churches, & was a massive landowner in her own right.
I just wanted to say that this show is deserving of its accolades. Alfred (the not yet Great) has been a wonderful character to watch. The character is faithful to much of what we know about the historical Alfred, despite the fact that it can seem contradictory for a typical dramatic character. Alfred is:
I skipped this show, based on two things:
Something else occurs to me - what if Jay Garrick is really a coward? I mean, Harry is a jerk, but that doesn't mean he's wrong. It would be interesting if they explored a "hero" who used his power for good & loved the accolades, but wasn't actually interested in risking his own neck to get them.
