Imagine simping for AI art and thinking you aren’t a massive cunt.

Not only are they willing to put out poor quality art just to save a few pennies, but they won’t even take the ten minutes or so to review the results before posting them. Their stupidity would be hilarious if they weren’t the ones steering the ship.

That’s what shows how these companies view this. If they’ll use AI for this, rather than hire an actual artist who wouldn’t let this shoddy crap slip by, just think of the garbage they’ll generate for bigger projects.

Wish Valve were that accommodating when their system overcharged me for a game I gifted my brother, rather than telling me “sorry you’re SOL” and letting me know that if I did a chargeback for the difference my account would be banned.

“Millions of people” I believe is just a tad hyperbolic.  Thousands, sure.  But not millions.  Not this far removed from the release window.

Yep, that was my impression from the dozen or so hours I spent with the game, that as a work of speculative fiction it was aggressively mid and derivative. You’re in the future, you travel to other solar systems, but when you get to other planets they’re just office parks and malls. And also wild west-style frontier…

Yes, Cyberpunk’s early issues were clear mistakes. The developers clearly didn’t intend for cars to be falling from the sky or NPC’s to be taking off on invisible motorcycles. CDPR’s response to 2077's disastrous launch was that it needed to be fixed.

I know there’s at least some people who enjoy Starfield, but to me it’s a classic case of “do the least effort possible because we have enough goodwill that we can get away with it”.

Will these updates be enough to turn fan sentiment around? Well, in a world where Cyberpunk 2077 literally won an award for getting its act together, it’s not entirely implausible.

$20 for a “rare” car is still ridiculous. For the life of me i can’t believe people are actually paying this much for 1 item in a video game.

Okay now decrease the cost of songs.  500 Vbucks for songs is way too much when they cost $2 in Rock Band (as well as its PSP and Xbox Live Arcade spinoffs) and Fuser.
