May I ask why you added position: relative; & display: block; to H1 & P elements?
plus the general sibling selector is CSS3 (could be circumvented with jQuery or other such JS library, but that kinda defeats the purpose)
But up to 4 paragraphs ensuing a ".right" will not be able to reflow then :S that could be a bit problematic & it's why I ended up with the ".purple" class...

No nothing automatic, but it's the closest I could get without resorting to JS :S I toyed with the "~" general sibling selector, but that's CSS3 and it would break in IE :/
