That’s nice that she’s forgiven him; I’m sure it is good for her well-being to be able to forgive.

Sasquatch Detective is my new favorite thing and I want more of it.
oh no a comic about a talking pink cat is rooted in a fallacy
If nothing else, we seriously need more stories where the grand prophecy about the single Messiah figure who will unite everyone in peace forever and ever turns out to be complete bullshit, and the wise council of elders have their heads so far up their asses that all the bad stuff happens right under their noses.…
It’s okay. The prequels have a lot of good ideas. There just needed two things: better actors for Anakin and someone to edit George Lucas. Like Harrison Ford once said, “You can write this shit, but you can’t say it.”
As a prequel defender, seeing Amidala pull the gun on the fanboy made me genuinely happy.
...you okay?
Next time someone pisses in your cornflakes, why not empty the bowl, clean it out, refill the bowl and enjoy your breakfast? After digesting a bit, take your meds. Then you can join a forum where people give their personal opinions rather than prattle on and on for no apparent reason on a disconnected Asperger’s…
The build up with the ringing bell, split-second-too-late realization, the big blast, Fring walking out, straightening his tie and standing while we pull around to reveal his lack of a right facial structure still comes back to me as a brilliantly directed scene. It will never not be mind blowing (pun absolutely…
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Nick Offerman should play Teddy Roosevelt in a biopic. He’s the only one manly enough to play him.
It felt like, at the end, maybe the door to a Lucifer/Cain attraction is left just a little open? I’m not calling the show out, because I think it does a decent job of representing Lucifer’s sexuality, but it would have been nice if the “worst neighbor ever” montage had objectified some men, considering their cover…
“Did you just admit to snorting evidence?”
There were a lot of choice moments in the Lucifer/Cain pairing, but the build up and delivery of “Fine, got get the chainsaw” at the end of the episode was perfect.
Keaton broke his neck during a prat-fall onto railroad tracks but it wasn’t diagnosed until years later. Keaton was a tough little bugger. When he was a toddler he was part of a prat-fall family vaudeville act so violent that child services were regularly called over fears of child abuse.
Most of my friends from last season have probably moved on to greener comments sections, but I’m going to try to keep the tradition alive:
I think this season had a significant dip in quality—but I still agree with you. There was much to discuss, and, as is becoming all too common on AVClub, it’s baffling that they continue to review Modern Family, for example, and drop shows like this.
I’m weirded out by all the comments carping on Joel’s lack of comic talent. Surely that’s the last thing he would need to be a good partner for Midge? It’s not like she needs someone to help with her jokes—in fact, a man who is just as funny as her would probably demand that she focus on honing HIS act, the time…
Seeing a lot Joel hate here. I actually think he’s a really well-developed character, first presented simply as a dick but then you find out there are actual deep reasons behind his behavior. His strong insecurities feel real and are common with men, especially those of us who fall in love with a woman they and/or…
So Season 2 is a thing, right? Was that confirmed? Rachel Brosnahan is fantastic and her report with Alex Borstein is incredible. Also, I can never get enough of Bailey De Young (formerly the Blonde Bunhead Bailey Buntain, now the Eldest Bunhead Bailey De Young, I guess?) even if in theory she’s the most disposable of…
Rachel Brosnahan won me over to her fan club big time, big time!, with her breakout role in House of Cards. She’s the outstanding rock of this show, and the writers have really defined a sharply stratified life that her character can talk smartly about during her sets. Joel and her family’s flaws don’t get wasted,…
