It’s frightening because that simplified, ultranationalist view of the troops/military is exactly what their viewers hold.

It’s weird language in part because there’s absolutely nothing genuine about him to the point where he couldn’t even fake warmth convincingly. 

We’re basically getting that with Steve Bannon’s new film.
