I went with giving them the benefit of the doubt, admittedly (and given the ostensibly psych-related meds they were giving her), but even if that’s the case, there are much better drugs with fewer side-effects than that shit for that purpose. Of course (as I’ve noted elsewhere), that sounds suspiciously like

I really, really don’t want to be right about this, but we already have more than enough evidence of what happens to vulnerable populations - be they in mental health facilities, hospitals, nursing homes, etc. - when they are US citizens.

At this point I’m certain that children have died and they are covering it up. You don’t get into these levels of rampant neglect and mistreatment without the vulnerable dying from it.

Their evilness - for lack of a better word - is a given. What I’m getting at is that they are grossly incompetent on top of that.

I have to wonder if Isabella actually has a seizure disorder, or if they were “prescribing” it for side-effects from other meds they put her on. Because holy shit does that stuff have a ton of side-effects, itself.

There are so many jokes in this scenario, though. I mean, Cockburn? It’s crazy.

I’m kinda surprised MassholeJames hasn’t been posting Tingle covers in the comments.

Oh, yeah. It’s a reoccurring pattern of behavior. You have to try not to notice it.

This defense was predicted months ago in the comments (not by myself, but others).

That’s a facile notion and I’m really not interested.

I don’t know if she ever said something so astonishingly stupid, but that’s a common attitude I’ve encountered and she has definitely made pro-gun comments.

Pretty much. Possibly with a side of “owning a gun is real feminism”. Her indie appeal was always pretentious, but I enjoyed her music anyways.

I’ve spent the entirety of my life looking for the truth, and while I’m still working on the big picture, it’s not your truth as stated. I never limited my search to one ideology or spiritual tradition, and the truth is certainly not limited by the narrow view of whatever version of christianity you’re preaching.

Oh, I remember you.

Yeah, there’s definitely some dark universe/timeline stuff goin... wait a minute.

I’m talking about the Buddhist notion of karma, as explained to me by a friend from Thailand who grew up Buddhist, studied with monks, and understood the teachings, and not some westernized, watered-down version. The effects of karma by that definition are in no way immediate - those are simply consequences resulting

Just ask any Libertarian! They love to go into depth about that shit.

Hey, it’s not the trash on the outside that counts - it’s the trash in your heart.
