Sounds like someone in the Chinese government is a Douglas Adams fan:

Sure thing, I actually didn’t intend to factcheck on that, I was just curious how their logo looked so similar for so long and it came up.

Sure this place isn’t run by the same people who used to own Amy’s Baking Company?

“What do you mean, ‘freedom of speech doesn’t free me from consequences’?”

Or something malty...like beer, but still seltzery. zero calorie beer flavored hard seltzer. FTW.

On top of this maybe being my favorite episode (80s homages are my jam), I also have to give a shout-out to the sweetest homage in the episode:

For real, this show is the only thing of 2020 that’s bringing me any joy.

you bastard. i gave you SO MUCH.

Those robot kills were absolutely perfect Eighties B-movie gore. It made me positively giddy. It’s funny how sometimes you don’t realize you are nostalgic for something and then an homage goes straight to your heart. That was this episode for me.

Oh how I loved this episode! And I love this season. Every week is a new homage to a different TV era. This week: The Buddy Cop ComicDrama, with the rag tag team, the slasher film tribute, and the very Marty McFly like band. And Max Headroom, and of course, the Thor parallel with Beer Belly Mack.

But no Koenigs running

Agent Mack Daddy.

Get off my lawn and go buy some sparkling wine

That would go great with some codeine

Yes! It’s a completely different vocabulary. Yet when I hear the word “fatty” to describe a cucumber, it’s surprising to realize that I actually understand and agree with that.
