I love my Thermapen. I don’t use it for anything as complicated as homebrewing, but it’s great for grilling and general cooking.

It’s a mini BCO without our favorite friend running the show...

Hebrew National doesn’t need to respond on Twitter. They answer to a higher authority.

I’m more of a porter fan than stout but Founders Breakfast Stout and Victory Storm King are definitely up there with my favorites.

I mean, I do like a nice piece of buttered toast. Just normal old-white bread toast. It’s comforting.

Dear AV Club,

Yes- I don’t remember the actual name of it, but you put two pieces of square bread in and get sealed, triangular sandwich pockets. I think the spaghetti sandwich was my crowning achievement, but I used it pretty often. This was probably the mid-90s, maybe early.

The woman was yawning in the first scene in the elevator. I can’t get that yawn out of my head. Mix that yawn with the German quote about “beginnings” and “perseverance”. The world is crashing, other people are crashing with boredom.

It’s like the other major depressions and market collapses, just on a grander scale. Not everybody is affected the same, and the lucky ones barely notice anything has changed, except that there are more homeless people and protesters around.

These people have cushy Ecorp jobs, so they’re probably insulated from the effects of the hack.

“If everything was going to crap, would random cubicle drones still happily chat about crushing puss and jam out to Blues Traveler?”

I liked the Elliot-half more than the Angela-half, because Elliot’s voiceover keeps things ratcheted up.

It’s probably just me, but I find long takes and pseudo-realtime always make things less tense. There were fun sections in this episode, but also plenty of interstitial and transitory bits that normally would be cut.

Mr. Robot is almost entirely fun gimmicks.

Another alternate reality Easter egg: Elliot’s employee ID is 07/23/91, the date that birthed the Mandela Effect.

Neat. We can bring back Behind Closed Ovens!

We’ve been spending the last month working on the site launch, hence the slower-than-usual pace. But we’ll be at full speed next week!

ah but they’re an apple bees with a heavy emphasis on cheap whisky and eating ten pounds of buffalo wings for ten dollars, in other words better than any Applebees will ever be

Chili’s: Applebee’s But Worse™️

You’re more a TGIFridays person, huh?
