And when he catches that perp, he’ll look him dead in the eye and say sternly...

It’s like they watched that episode of South Park.  Spooky...

I personally use Finish and add in Lemishine.  Lemishine is citrus scented, but doesn’t seem to leave any lingering odor on the plastics.

Not dish soap, but recently, I went to Target and bought about a year’s supply of dishwasher tablets to get a free gift card.  My wife subsequently went to Costco and bought about two year’s worth of dishwasher tablets for another deal.  On top of our 400 laundry pods, we look like crazy people.

Rando thought- all the other sections of the G-O universe put out a coordinated statement about all the ads, but not AV Club or The Takeout. They were even left out of the listing of sites in that coordinated statement. Uh, should I be reading into that?

Dam, that’s a tail that must have kept you busy.

Guys, why are you not using the widely accepted nomenclature- “Frickle” to describe these?

My wife got us a Nespresso. The coffee is great, but if I'm making coffee at home, I want at least half a pot.  I use it rarely, but it is better coffee, and they allegedly recycle the pods for you.

Just going back to add, “chemical free” is from a quote by the president of the company. The actual phrase he used is “chemical free way to consume cannabis’ natural compounds.”

TIL THC is not a chemical.

I finally broke down and watched one of the not-first-two movies this year (whichever one had Claire Danes in it).  One good truck chase scene, but the rest was... yech.  I’m still going to watch this just because Linda Hamilton being a badass is probably worth a discount matinee ticket alone.

I think I found an article where you accidentally selected The Takeout in that automated content generator...

Also following that story... I saw that yesterday and had to reread multiple times because I couldn’t believe how stupid it was.

I’ve only tried honeycrisp a few times, and I think it’s the storage that’s the problem.  The ones I’ve tried are really not great... dull in flavor and terrible mealy texture.

Hy Vee, but the’re around... they are like three steps spicier than the next lower spicy chip.

I love spice.  I just bought a bag of Paqui ghost pepper chips, which includes a code to win a 1 chip challenge.  These are the only chips I think of as legitimately spicy, to the point where I can only have a handful.

Off topic- did anyone else used to frequent foodnetworkhumor.com? It’s long dead and gone, but so much snark at the channel. I miss it, but once they started replacing every show with a competition show, they lost all inspiration. I just used the web archive, and will spend a long Friday night reliving what I laughed

I miss the Smithsonian.  I went there at age thirteen on a school trip and they cut us loose for a day to visit them as we pleased. I feel like it was wasted on youth - as in awe as I was then, I'd be so much more appreciative now.

I hate that as much as I hate “veggie.”  Which is to say a lot.
