Quite sad to hear this actually happens.

I hope more people will use it. Getting a reliable 7 second car is not easy and nowhere near as easy as joining the LS turbo 8.50 second mafia.
Don Garlits already tried to get that going by building a Swamp Rat electric dragster to kick things off, but I has taken them from 2014 to now to get close to 200 mph. Electricity do not have a “nitromethane” ultra boosting thing, afaik, so it might take a while,
There is not enough room on the US salt flats for the current LSR speeds anymore. Plus RSA wants them to come due to economy.

Jason, I cannot wait for you to try the arguably first badass race car (although it is a LSR car used as a race car), the 1905 Darraq 200 hp,
Are we talking business or private then?
I don’t remember the exact race, but Schumacher once had a race in the 1990s where he had the not-best-car but outpaced everyone else by a LAP when it started to rain. True rain-meister style.
