Yes. Alternately, a G37 convertible, or a 370Z convertible.

Glad to hear you’re alright.  Out of curiosity, did the model you were riding have cornering ABS? From what I can tell the ‘S’ model adds the IMU system?

“Honda’s 125 makes 10 horsepower, so don’t expect too much more than that” . . . ???

This is like looking at a VW Beetle and saying “well all 1200cc engines will make about 40hp probably?

Just look at the two bikes side by side — the Honda is a cheap & cheerful ancient air-cooled lump; the Husqvarna has a

I was honestly considering buying one of these — I was in the market for a nice touring missile a few years ago, but then I found out they did not offer a single model with ABS.

Instead I went with a 2017 KTM Super Duke GT, with not just ABS but fancy IMU cornering ABS (not to mention more power, lighter, cheaper, etc).

Re: point 4: seriously, heated grips and gear is life-changing. Every motorcyclist I know (including myself) scoffed at heated stuff until trying it.

You neglect to mention the advancements in literally all the other areas of the motorcycle. Yes, old bikes had less horsepower, but they also had woeful brakes, frames made of spaghetti, terrible geometry, awful tires, and pretty horrible everything else. Not even to mention today’s electronic whizbangs . . . .

Very true, and I agree — however, any old Harley dealer is not necessarily going to be a Harley dealer that can/will work on a Livewire.

Haha I mean, they have an active dealer network and are selling them, if seeing one is a thing you would like to do. I’ve spotted a couple in the wild and they look the business.

I want to know how it compares against the Energica Eva and Zero SR/F.

Comparing this to parallel-twin 500s is kind of a silly marketing tactic on their part.

Yep. Lots of awesome electric bike stuff these days — also Energica is doing good work, also Confederate Motors change their name to Curtiss and is gonna make all-electric cruisers. Plus there have been a few teasy concepts from Honda and Yamaha that show the big 4 are at least thinking about getting in the game.

What . . . . ? Are you talking about electric-assist bicycles?

Yeah, single-cylinder bikes means cheaper! Less cylinders == less money!!! OBVIOUSLY. My price is $10,000 per cylinder MAXIMUM.

I honestly can’t imagine who the market is for an electric motorcycle—the main appeal of riding a motorcycle is feeling and hearing the engine

This is a real thing.

Any word whether or not they will be offering this on their custom fit helmets?
