I'd rather it be pedantic than call something what it isn't.

Or the universe is so huge and the spaces between planets so vast that it's implausible to communicate or even detect other inhabited planets directly.

That's true, but it also works the other way around. Introduce a new species and it'll throw things into disarray. Which will eventually subside and balance out in time.

The only thing that threw me off at times was him being out of breath from exertion.

No, you need elf blood to open the lock. Dwemer blood specifically, I think. You need the blood of all existing elf races to "synthesise" it, I think.

Finally someone else who has realised that the Earth has no "normal" temperature! :D

They need a LOT more Oxygen than we have today. Which is exactly how they got that big. A lot of is was converted to Carbon Dioxide by the sudden surge in plant life in that era.

Looks more like lights to me. I'd imagine a spaceship built by any species wouldn't emit that much light. Imagine how much it would piss off the people in the spacedock? Too much light.

How is this remotely alien? A lot of people are familiar with creatures like this.

Similarly, the Norse nations converted to Christianity not so much because they believed in it, but because being Christian took away the excuse "They're pagans, so we can invade them" from the other European nations.

In other words, to renew our reserves of fossil fuels we need:

Several aeons.

While logical, that's not quite how it works. :P

Someone with tourettes shouting a word deemed to be racist doesn't really make them racist. They might be, but it's not really a good indicator.

I think the problem isn't that the media is depicting people like this. The problem is that people think they have to look like them too.

I dunno. Could it be that they're gouging out the shapes that they happen to BE?

Really? The closer they are to how they were when they were created is always better. That's like saying you don't like feathered dinosaurs because they're not the "traditional image" of dinosaurs. It's not about how we want them to look, it's about finding out how they ACTUALLY WERE back then.

They would be heroic, if they CHOSE to do it.

But wasn't Bill and Ted from 1988/89?

Or just extend the diversity rights to the entire damn thing and enforce strict punishment on those who discriminate against others?

That's graphic imagery? I suppose it is, images are graphics.
