In my university they didn’t have anybody other than special honors / achievements go on stage. The rest of us plebes got to pick up our diploma at the basketball stadium or had it mailed to us if we didn’t have time to wait or wanted to start drinking early

No doubt this was some racist fuckery. But, as someone who has been forced to endure too many long graduations, I propose that we begin pushing all graduates into a giant pool of diplomas at once and calling it a day.
