I don’t get the hate for Alien³ (yes, I enjoy writing it that way because I’m a massive dork) and Resurrection. All 4 Alien movies were made by a different director, and it totally shows - they’re 4 takes on a similar story. I find the visual differences and styles alone very fascinating.

Watch Alien 3 Aseembly Cut. Makes that movie much better. Moves it into “good” category for me.
