The content added for the Enhanced Editions was pretty tepid.

I almost always got them killed because they were so worthless. They complained all the time, you couldn’t ask them to leave, completely useless in combat, and they took up an NPC slot.

I consider this a victory of sorts for opponents of marriage equality as well. It’s over. It’s done. Your “struggle” is at its end. You can go home now. You can stop fighting it. It never was going to affect you anyway, and over the years I hope you come to realize that.

I am reminded of people who call for the word “nigger” to be removed from Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. These people seem to have no grasp of how insidious whitewashing can truly be.

So does Star Wars: The Old Republic. And I am fairly sure that WoW had an unstuck feature once upon a time before it was (of course) exploited by people for nefarious ends.

You won’t be completely lost, but the writing for these games tends to be quite self-referencing. The location and probably 99% of all the characters will be entirely new to Fallout 4, but you’ll want to brush up on what happened in the other games as there will likely be a slew of nods to the previous installments.…
