Yes, I agree. There is that lack of subtlety in them that the first 3 seasons pulled off so well. Now all of their talk/actions are these poor gimmicks of what was successful before, which is quite tiring and painful to watch. But I still do anyway… because it's Community.

I think Abed's changing a lot this season. I don't think he is as charming as he was in the first 3 seasons. I think the creators are trying too hard now. He's turning emotional…. normal. Which isn't normal for him. I don't like this Abed at all.
