Probably because people like you build terribly and then claim to be Brazillian...

Um... there's no voice chat in League of Legends...

It is hugely consumerist, but I fail to see why I should feel guilty about consumerism. I work for money and turn it into the things I want so I can consume them. So what?

Play with friends on skype. Mute allchat so you don't hear your opponents. When you get good enough to not get yelled at (or good enough to know when you deserve to be yelled at at least) then start playing ranked with randos.

I saw it as a 10 year old with a 10 year old friend and his 15 year old brother. We even bought the "kids" tickets for cheaper. Which looking back on it now is bizarre. Though I don't really think Dracula 2000 scarred me in any way other than being a seriously disappointing first R-rated movie.

Well to be fair if you're nearly 22 I'm pretty sure you look over 16, which is all R-rating implies. Same with M rated games.

Well I think that's my point. The idea that using a gun for it's one totally nonviolent use (sports shooting) being inherently violent is completely illogical. Would a Roller Coaster Tycoon-esque game in which you operated a museum and stocked it with antique firearms need to be rated for 12+ simply because firearms

It's good to know that the world is finally catching up to how inappropriate for children Duck Hunt was. No one would listen to me until now, but clearly a game featuring target shooting is a murder simulator.

So in your opinion, Duck Hunt for the NES should have been restricted to those ages 17 and up?

So I hadn't until about two weeks ago played a single facebook game. My girlfriend had bugged me about it before but I always resisted. Well, she needed something for her Farmville 2 and finally forced me into it and damn if I'm not addicted to it like anything. She's already getting mad at me because in 2 weeks of

A) Batman has never really supported Gun Control, even the Frank Miller version. He has a personal hangup on them and will not use them himself. Likewise, in The Dark Knight Returns, he does not want anyone wearing his symbol to use them.

Without wading into any of the gun politic waters, I'm sure everyone here would agree that Duck Hunt was a solid game for ages 4+. How is this different from Duck Hunt?

I just want to point out that the PS3, Wii and Wii U were PC's. They didn't run windows, but they were PC's. And yes, you can easily set up a Wiimote to work on your PC.

this was my exact thought process

That sentence doesn't make much sense but I think you're trying to say most of the things I do online come from San Francisco which isn't true. Valve operates out of Washington State, Riot Games operates out of Santa Monica, Bethesda was originally from (shocker) Bethesda Maryland but have since moved to somewhere

And "loser" is an apt description for most people living in San Fran lol

General Petraeus is so incredibly overrated. Anyone that's ever really worked with him knows he's an incompetent ass kisser. I have on very damn good authority that when he resigned, several thousand dollars worth of good scotch was consumed at Langley as the celebrations ensued.

Well the thing is you tell them they're muted but don't mute them. Because they think they're muted, they stop screaming at you because they think you can't hear them. But when they call that someone is missing from their lane, or that their Ultimate is on cooldown, or that the enemy carry has burned his flash....

You can mute anyone you want in league. /ignore playername

I'm pretty sure you could find hundreds of films and thousands of novels with the line "Run, you fools" in them. Most likely a few less with "Fly, you fools", including novels that predate The Lord of the Rings.
