To be fair, they really aren't that impressive paintjobs. I'm at a bit above that level and I wouldn't ever dream of entering in competitions or anything. The lighting and effects are pretty cool, though half the skill of painting comes in simulating lighting and flame and whatnot.

Hell I still pirate Minecraft. And I'd definitely be one of those to promptly buy it if it was still $15. But I'm definitely not paying $30 for it when I could drop that same cash on Endless Space, or when I just spent $7.50 on Shogun 2 Total War, $2.50 for Terraria, and $5 on Portal 2. If Mojang ever puts it on sale…

I used to just stick with whatever the default was. On occasion I would fiddle with it— like in Skyrim I would turn it on because it's so easy to walk out of earshot of someone who is saying something important without realizing she was.

I live in Nothern Virginia/DC Metro Area and have yet to see a single person with a Vita. I actually forgot they even came out and was reminded last month when I went into a Gamestop at the Mall. I remember saying to the employee "Oh, the NGP Came out, I forgot!" and then having no interest in buying it.

Hm. I think your argument is a little flawed. A "bounty" in the sense of those against league rules are NOT incentives for achievements other than winning. In fact, those are very common.
