Well, having good public transit and lots of things in close proximity to each other certainly helps. One of my old roommates specifically moved from our Atlanta suburb to Charlotte because he’s legally blind and needed to be able to get around without driving. 

Something tells me someone interested in moving into a building with no parking plans to walk, bike, or use public transit instead of driving everywhere.

At that price and age I’d take my chances after an inspection. If it blew up on me I’d repair it. If it did a second time, I’d repair it and sell it. That price is the kind of price where I could afford the risk, but at the age it is, it would either have had its fits or not, IMO, even with the low mileage.

people will cry about rushing into things, but let’s be realistic. sometimes you just have to rush. when you’re bleeding out, time is off the essence, and you, or those around you should definitely rush.

This doesn’t work. We set up a system that forces people to drive to be able to live. So if you take away peoples’ licenses, all you end up with is more people driving illegally without a license or insurance. Which just costs honest drivers more.
