Does density lead to better ADA and universal design? I’d say yes on both counts. Suburbs will be better than rural, and often higher density areas will be better than suburbs. The S3 and Golf R share a lot of DNA and are basically the same car. With both being VAG products it makes some sense not to dilute their own offerings. The RS3 gets an extra cylinder and 2.5 engine.
