It’s actually a great ploy by publishers. They have been windowing paper books like mad the last few years. When you can buy a paperback for less than the e-book, despite the latter being a lot cheaper to make and dispatch, you know they are inflating the paper market.
My wife loves the Dragonriders of Pern books. We have a shelf dedicated to them in our library.
