If we cut all the racist stuff out of Will Smith movies there would be nothing left.

Having kicked people in the groin on several occasions, I can say that the area is better protected and people have a natural reflex whenever someone makes a move for it.

I'd argue a short kick to the knee is quicker and does more damage and keeps you at a steadier angle should you need to move out the way/run like a little girl.

It's a quicker kick and requires less force too and a shorter angle, (there's no huge build up to it, you can just snap).

I still think it's a great discipline, it's a brilliant sport and can be entertaining to watch though - and the people I've met and fought with have been very proud of the marital art.

It would need to be black bag though, plausible deny-ability and all that rubbish - but we have to be entering a time where corporations are using these techniques not only on each other, but on the countries for which they tender work.

It seems a little too low key for mossad - if they want to know what a journalist is writing don't they usually just beat the info out of them or threaten the family?

I agree their are techniques, I've seen them used, (I claim no ability myself in that area), but we were talking specifically about karate for a moment there.

I just think a groin kick is always a bad idea, if you're going low go for the knee, it'll make a much more satisfying noise to go with the pain.

If Israel did it, why did they infect their own machines and why wasn't America infected?

That's not true - most untrained people will run at you - simple front kick to the chest and they have no more ribs.

I am a blackbelt, (kickboxing based on a free form of lau gar), someone I trained with and fought many times full contact on the tournament circuit was a fourth degree blackbelt in shotokan karate, he never beat me in 8 fights over two years, not once.

Ever gone to kick a guy in the balls?

How quickly can you kick though? Most people are utterly shite at kicking.

Karate, great sport - I wouldn't use it to protect my well-being though.

Hmm, I'd be weary of kicking a knife attacker in the groin - even guys with little to no training will have a fairly good reaction rate to things going in that direction, and if the hand with the knife darts down you might not be bringing all your toes back.

One of the kickboxing clubs I used to go to had a pretty good instructor - he'd show knife disarming techniques, (I claim no ability in this at all).

How can you be sure that it's America though - the country is transforming from an industry based economy to a service one, fewer and fewer people go into tech.

Can you really call Williams the little guys?

Anyone for a salty melons joke?
