I picture in my head there was a lot of angry talk in the Rockets locker room after the game, and Paul casually threw out that there was a connecting hallway between locker rooms. Ariza jumped all over it and quickly rounded up a group while Paul followed him around saying “That was years ago, they probably closed it

Two phony rocket attacks in one week.

We need them to win so media day will be ridiculous.

This is nice, especially all the signs for Williams:

They weren’t all defenders. One of the guys was Thomas Morstead, the punter who was injured earlier in the game. Morstead is a great guy, an absolute joy to watch and an all round good human being. It really doesn’t surprise me that he’d go out there. He’s a class act.

As a minor sidenote, I have a ton of respect for those Saints defenders who came back out for that final snap. Especially for the trio of Saints who apparently went back there for them. That was just a great sign of respect after such a gut-wrenching defeat.

The great thing about this comment is, it would have been just as valid had the Vikings NOT won after blowing a 17 point lead.

Yeah, I’ve not played any OW I can’t tell what the heck is going on. Even after reading the descriptions of these good plays the videos still don’t resonate with me because the overall action doesn’t make sense.

Another big problems is the camerawork. Something like 95+% of Football, Hockey, Football, Basketball and Baseball action is shown from a single wide shot that can show most to all of the action (along with the pitching camera for Baseball).

If they just used a wide shot more often, it’d help a lot. Sure, you might not have a great idea what’s happening, but at least you’d get a sense of where everyone is and no one would be suddenly zooming in and out of frame...

This game is kind of inscrutable as a spectator unless you are familiar with it.

This story touched a nerve with me when I heard about it last night. School salaries and wages are ridiculous in Louisiana, and I’m pretty sure my state isn’t the only one where that problem exists. Ms. Hargrave raises a valid point, so let me try to break it down so everyone understands.

Their reasons make even less sense when you consider that the teams have more than six players. In the pre-season they were making substitutions left and right. If you want a fully functioning 6-person team right out of the gate, I understand that, but you have several other players waiting in the wings already to

pipe down fart face, i didn’t challenge him to a fight

But the problem is that the movie treats Sam Rockwell’s bigotry and violent behavior as minor flaws that don’t need to be corrected.

Mine looks like Goofy kicking Pluto.

Which is fine for me as how often do you think bigots really change? It made the film feel more real rather than some pablum where he reforms and sees the error of his ways

He gets fired and gets half his face burnt off. It’s not as though the film does not ‘punish’ him.

That play was entirely on Russel Wilson. Passing the ball is the right thing to do there, if it fails, you still have a chance to run. If you run and it fails, the game is over. Your QB just needs to know that they have to throw the ball away quickly if it’s not there, to avoid a sack or an interception. You could
