This should open the floodgates on a bunch of civil cases that were pending against him, too, so he’ll hopefully die alone in prison and penniless. It’s a good day.

Fuck you
Fuck you
The em dash—is there anything it can’t do?
Dowd and Iggy reviews always read like the letter grade is inconsequential—like it was either an afterthought or maybe even applied by someone in editorial. I wish the site as a whole could just have gradeless reviews like A.V. Games, but well-written reviews like this make the grade easy to ignore and reveal just how…
Dammit. I’m almost positive I know the song, but I can’t find it. It’s right on the tip of my brain…
I think it’s a fun and adorable song. Can’t help but sing along!
I think I’ve slowly grown to hate RDJ over the MCU’s lifecycle as well. I remember sitting there, watching him in Spider-Man: Too Much Favreau and thinking, “fuck off you old eyebrow penciled leather bag…whoa, where’d that come from.”
It was really kinda horrifying. I just got the young dudes uncle (my boss) and informed him that apparently the English school system had failed this lad (maybe that’s why he had been sent off to NYC to stay with his ex-pat uncle.)
That makes the most sense. Sounds appropriately bullshit-y.
How the hell do you even pronounce it!? (I read all my news, it seems.)
Yeah, I get that the article is in good fun, but this is pathetic.
I hope they at least thought to ask Tom. “Hey, you know anyone who can do goofy bad guy voices, Tom Hardy?”
Fair enough.
Dr. Parnasus is the only other “mainstream” role he had with a major amount of screen time and dialogue, to my recollection, and people seem to hate that movie. There’s also Heath Ledger’s death and reshoots thing hanging over it.
Would you have preferred “Love Guru” star or, even more depressing, “Surreal Life” star? Fact of the matter is that Austin Powers is what he’s primarily known for, and well his relationship with it was certainly fraught, it’s the reason people know who he is, and it’s a role that brought many folks a lot of laughs.
Tomorrow Never Dies rules. So many great action sequences—the remote control BMW, the handcuffed motorcycle chase, the stealth-boat assault. Great baddies, including Vincent Schiavelli.
Grande Illusion is such a rich film. I was lucky to see a restoration at Film Forum some years back. “Lotte hat blaue augen”
It’s worth considering that learning something yourself doesn’t mean everyone else has learned it as well.
Haha! When I was reading Hot Topic’s wiki page, I noticed that the magician didn’t have a link and thought, “how’d Harjack run that down?”
