I went to Germany a couple of summers ago and we flew in and out of Frankfort. Apart from a LONG walk to the rental cars and having a difficult time finding the rental car return, it didn’t seem an out of the ordinary airport experience.

It’s a necessary preemptive measure on jezebel, if you’re white and you’re going to have an opinion on race issues it had better be as meek and timid as possible, stating clearly that you're aware of your whiteness and privilege and you're not just some white feminist.

I’m black, and even I find it comical how the article chastises the white cultural for not being okay with that comment. Whether it’s racist or not is beside the point. The phrase he said should not be condoned, nor should we try to shift the story to it being wrong for people to be upset with it.
