Oh come off it... Cab companies in major cities have MAJOR political influence. Why do you think it’s not in every city yet? You think they made this exception and are allowing independent contractors to unionize out of the goodness of their heart?

The whole point of Uber is that you are more or less a franchise owner. You set your own hours, drive as much or as little as you want. Unionizing makes no damn sense.
