It bugged me too. She was a very stereotypical "sassy black friend" who helps the protagonist go on a journey of self-discovery. It was a bizarre choice.

I miss Laird and Adam's sister (Caroline? can't remember her name). They were given so much meaty material and his sister especially is a phenomenal actress. Adam and Jessa just don't feel like they belong anywhere anymore.

Me too. The direction was beautiful though. No music, just quiet screams floating lightly in the wind and the feeling of utter despair. I had to catch my breath when he fell.

Oh geez, her body's been floating around for the last year…that will not be pretty.

Almost as many times as Sam when he walked into that library…Hi-Oh!

It is strange to watch it onscreen and try to imagine the storylines not being somewhat right around each other. However, you have a valid point.

me too :(

I think non-book readers are going to be really confused by this. Even though they said talked about Rhaegar a million times, is anyone going to remember? Are non-book readers even reacting properly to this moment, or just reacting that Jon is Lyanna's son and that's it?

yeah, that was a little off-putting, to say the least…:/

I like Jennifer Lawrence but this sounds like one big YAWN.

On a smaller note, a werewolf and a shifter enter a town where ALL THE PEOPLE ARE IN A MASS GRAVE anddddddddddd motherfuckers with their heightened senses don't smell it?? Not even a "ruh-roh, shit stinks here" nothing? What kind of werewolf are you, Alcide?!

Sookie needs to save him with her fairy bullshit (and quickly) or I will be pretty pissed. Eric doesn't deserve such a crap ending.

The no-Stannis reveal at the end really did not make this as exciting an episode as I hoped it would be. The effects looked great, I wasn't bored at all, but I kept waiting for him to show up which killed it for me a bit when it did not happen.

I wondered the same thing about how the hell he ate and "taught himself" to read/speak locked up alone. Why didn't Victor just kill him if he was that horrified by his creation?

Unfortunately, my cable provider (RCN) does not have an agreement with Showtime for the app, so I can't use it. DVR will have to do—Sunday nights are just too damn heavy to watch all those shows in one shot!

Ugh, I know! That bugged me more than I wanted it too. The sexual humiliation of her testimony wasn't as cringe-inducing as it was in the books. Sigh indeed.

I don't think I can watch Penny right after GoT. It took too long for me to shift gears, and I think this show deserves full attention. The seance was indeed riveting and the TB blood splattered sex was gross and hot. Damn, get it girl!

Did anyone else hope when Shireen told Davos that if he pronounced "knights" as "ka-niggets was a Holy Grail reference??
