I just had one as a rental yesterday and it was awful. It doesn’t have a manual mode, just a “Low” mode that holds gears and downshifts earlier, then when you let off the gas continually, it holds it in that lower gear, which is helpful :-/
Ford warranty covers wear items like brakes and clutches for the first year or 12k miles unless the components have been “abused” or “used for competition” So it probably would be denied. The factory Launch control holds the revs at 5k though, so that would be covered.
