I believe the RS3 they tested was the base model and magna ride and ceramic brakes are both available as options. That’s still no excuse for an RS product, but at least there are some remedies if you spec it right.

I’m pretty sure here in Michigan it’s totally legal to be on your phone as long as the car isn’t moving. Someone correct me if I’m wrong. I know it’s illegal while driving, but I thought I heard an officer quote one time that while stopped, you were fine.
