They bringing the Crossfire hood back? ;-)

The Taurus SHO Owner's Club, by far. They'll always welcome new members and most will bend over backwards to help you out when you're in need and not just with your car, but life in general. Here's the Owner's Club from the 2010 Convention in Dearborn, MI in front of Ford World HQ.

Came here hoping for dash cam footage :-(

I found out Budget now rents manual, yes MANUAL transmission Mustang GT 5.0s, Camaro SS' and Challenger R/T's now as well as Focus STs! How can you beat that!!! A friend of mine had a Challenger R/T manual for a week while his Mustang was getting repaired at the body shop (deer incident).

One SHO Powered Aluminum Sable still exists out of the small 20 car batch Ford produced for testing in the early 90's. I keep tabs on it. Here it is at the 2010 SHO convention. It sits in one of Ford's prototype lots in Dearborn.

All I have is the Hot Rod Magazine article I linked to in my original post.

Yea, how can they say bigger isn't better when they offer the biggest engine in it's class? LOL.

Since the 2003 redesign, it shares no underpinnings with the F-150...totally unique platform.

Actually since the 2003 redesign of the Expedition and Navi, it shares no underpinnings with the F-150, only the powertrains, and has been on its own unique platform. It has one of the largest IRS systems on the road too ;-)

Or the Ford GT engine test mule: an F-250 Super Duty.

You'd be surprised at how cobbled together some are. It really just involves a lot of sawzall, a torch, duck tape and many zip ties LOL.

Weah weah weah. You're going from Barbados to Monaco during the Monaco Grand Prix! STFO!

I know for sure on the '08+ ('07 was the last year for the 6.0L), but they also made it quite easy to do really. All of the harnesses that go into the firewall are quick disconnect and the steering slides out of a sleeved joint IIRC. You basically jsut have to unbolt the fenders, headlamps and grill after that as well

Now playing

Why does it sound amazing? Because Yamaha design.

Yep, which is also the same bolt pattern and offset of the '86-'07 Taurus, which is why I run Team Dynamic Pro Race 1.2's (designed for an S60) on my SHO ;-)

Mustang Type R

Unless each are hooked to individual cylinders ;-) (which I know the R's are not).

That blue intake manifold is gorgeous!

You forgot that 14th g in your spelling ;-)

Was thinking the same thing.
