That little body panel is the gas door FYI, which I think looks cool all hidden into the body curves.

I completely agree! It's just got such a unique sound. They usually remind me of an Audi Ur Quattro :-D... and also why I've been pining over getting a Volvo S60R or V70R.
RWD is nice, but AWD can be better. However, the current Ford AWD systems use open diffs and can only transfer up to 50% of the power to the rear tires and only in short bursts to aid traction, so it's not better in this instance, unless they added a beefier rear LSD in this new one.
