Well shit. Now I have to give the show a try. Damn you Matt LeBlanc!

It not this, but the new CT6 ain’t bad either. Just doesn’t make me weak in the knees like the Elmiraj

I really thought there might be a chance here. Buick does so well in China I figured they would want to expand the lineup to fit the demands overseas

I find your lack of Mercedes disturbing

Mercedes S-Class Coupe has no B piller therefore it wins

A Morgan would be very funny

One has to wonder, how does 007 always escape his high speed pursuits if his car breaks down on a semi regular basis.

And the little Lincoln logos that make up the mesh pattern is a very cool touch

When a car looks good in white you know it is a good design

I love the performance but they seem to forget the car needs to be uber luxurious too. With a good infotainment system.

Yes and no. It still wallowed about like a seal out of water

First time since what? The 30s? They aren’t a performance brand or a sports luxury brand. They are luxury and have been for some time

Yeah it is opulent luxury without the need for performance. The Continental GT is more performance oriented but even that I would struggle to call a performance car. More of a grand tourer or personal luxury car with some power.

Not referring to the GT referring to the Lincoln Continental try to keep up

Yet no one looks at the Mulsanne and thinks hmm that is a great performance car. It is a luxury car with a luxurious amount of power to move it’s occupants easily and quickly with little noticeable aggression.

I agree. Like RR and Bentley to a lesser extent (and price bracket) Lincoln is aiming to appease the driver who wants luxury and comfort. Not performance. In many ways this new Continental would be more of a rival for Lexus than for BMW. And that isn’t a bad thing.

Not a Bentley grill. Look closely the mesh pattern is a bunch of little Lincoln emblems repeated over and over.

Calling this car a Taurus is like calling a CTS and a Camaro the same thing because they share a similar platform.

A bespoke interior with items unique to the Continental. That term often defines bespoke with regards to automotive writing

Well the Continental can float or sink in the USA as well. And Lincoln is starting out on a good foot in China with the new Continental
