Lincoln made some excellent cars but nothing it quite as iconic as the 1963 Continental. At 8k this is an excellent buy.
Doug well done with the letters to Doug article idea. There needed to be more Doug on the sight and I'm glad it's finally coming. However anyone crazy enough to take advice from you should be locked up in the loony bin. I am looking forward to next weeks letter!
Lincoln's design department is doing an excellent job. But even if it is following Audis corporate design policy I wish Lincoln would be willing to distinguish the models just a tiny bit more.
Anyone who designed the Continental and the Chrysler deserve a spot on the final list.
The original Continental was designed by Edsel Ford frankly I think the facelift was a step in the wrong direction. I wouldn't say that was Loewy's design. I do like other projects he took on however.

Damn that is a good question I honestly couldn't answer. Probably just you.
I guess you should go both ways if you ever do write it. A DIYer perspective and a take it to the dealership perspective then you could cover the entire ownership spectrum.
That is a very easy 5 minute fix. I should know I own an Avalanche that once had hideous gray plastic.
I was going to suggest this to Tavarish but maybe you would want to do it. As much as he rights about this model me along with many others I am sure have contemplated buying one. Instead of valiantly defending the W220's honor in the comments why not right an article to kill off the nay sayers once and for all? Like a…
W220 I assume you own an S-class?
It would be interesting to see a comparison from an owners perspective after owning two great hot hatches!
The problem with people bombing you is on this site it seems to be very fashionable to dislike Lincoln. So if you stick up for the company and it's heritage you are likely a loony who knows nothing about cars.
